Spring Training in Surprise – What you Need to Know

Spring Training in Surprise will begin on Friday, March 18 with Surprise’s home teams, the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals, facing off at Surprise Stadium at 1:05 p.m. Surprise has made some updates to the fan experience and below is your guide to the 2022 Spring Training Season.

Transportation and Parking:

For the safety of pedestrians, there will be a full closure in place two hours ahead of gates opening on Bullard Avenue from Paradise Lane to Tierra Buena. Fans going to the game can access the stadium parking lot:

  • From Bell Road by going south on Parkview Place or Bullard Avenue to Paradise Lane 
  • From Greenway by going north on Parkview Place to Paradise Lane

There is additional parking located north of Paradise Lane and south of Tierra Buena Lane. For details, please see the Parking & Closure Map or visit SurpriseStadium.com.

Schedule and Ticket Information:

Tickets for the revised schedule are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased online at SurpriseStadium.com; in-person at the Surprise Stadium Box Office, 15850 N Bullard Ave.; or by phone at 623.222.2222. Service charges and processing fees may apply to online and phone orders.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets previously purchased to originally scheduled games will NOT be valid for the newly scheduled games.

Individual game ticket buyers who purchased their tickets through an authorized Surprise Stadium outlet for games originally scheduled between 3/18-3/26 will automatically receive a full refund, including any applicable service fees, for any games on the card used to make the purchase(s). For the Foodies – New Food Items at the Stadium:

Tenders, Love and Chicken is a new signature stand at Surprise Stadium, featuring craveable homemade Chicken Tenders, hand-tossed golden fries compete with a variety of specialty self-serve dipping sauces. We promise these tenders are one of a kind!

Cactus Corn Dog is a new signature item at Surprise Stadium. These fun cactus-shaped, beer battered smoked sausage corn dogs are topped with jalapeno honey mustard and are a delicious twist on the original corn dog.

Tex Mex Souvenir Helmet Nachos include a helmet full of white corn chips, chicken tinga, queso blanco, black beans, sour cream, pico and fresh jalapenos – plenty to share or enough for one hungry baseball fan.

Top Taco Stand is a brand new stand with authentic premium tacos, featuring three different curated taco choices, allowing fans to mix and match chicken, beef and veggie tacos.

NEW! “Hometown Dog’s” Specialty Hot Dog Stand features gourmet hot dogs including the Arizona Dog, Texas Dog, Kansas City Dog and California Dog.
