Surprise Stadium, spring training home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City royals, has been ranked the No. 1 Spring Training stadium in Arizona by USA TODAY!
The newspaper conducted a study of online fan reviews to create scores for all 23 spring training stadiums in four areas: facility; family friendliness; food; and fan experience.
Not only did Surprise Stadium score first overall in the Cactus League, but the park also topped all 23 Arizona and Florida spring training facilities in the categories of facility and fan-experience!
The 16th annual Surprise Spring Training season will begin this Saturday, February 24, when the Kansas City Royals take on the 2017 National League Champions Los Angeles Dodgers. Surprise Stadium will host 31 games this season, with scheduled matchups against every Cactus League team.
Tickets start at just $8, and parking is free! Catch a unique fan experience on our Budweiser Legends Deck; tickets are only $30 and include food from local restaurants, a drink voucher and access to a private bar.
