Major League Baseball announces 2026 Spring Training schedule

Major League Baseball, in conjunction with the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers, has released the 2026 Cactus League Spring Training schedule. Opening Day in Surprise, Arizona is set for Friday, February 20, with the Texas Rangers taking on the Kansas City Royals at Surprise Stadium.

Surprise Stadium is gearing up for an action-packed season, hosting 31 games that include matchups against every team in the Cactus League. In an exciting addition, the stadium has been selected to host two World Baseball Classic exhibition games, allowing teams to fine-tune their skills in preparation for the upcoming spring tournament.

Moreover, the MLB Spring Breakout event will shine a spotlight on some of the game’s brightest young prospects, showcasing the next generation of baseball stars across select Major League Spring Training stadiums.

Group and season ticket packages for the 2026 Spring Training Season will go on sale starting Tuesday, November 18, at 10 a.m. (AZ time).

Individual game tickets for Spring Training at Surprise Stadium will go on sale online at SurpriseStadium.com on December 2, at 10 a.m. (AZ time).
