Surprise Spring Training – week one guide

The 24^th edition of Spring Training in Surprise begins on Friday, February 20, as the Texas Rangers host the Kansas City Royals at 1:05 p.m. The 2026 Spring Training season brings marquee matchups along with family-friendly events and exclusive ticket offers.

Here is what to know before you go to Surprise Stadium for all the action:

Pre-Game Preparation

• Entry gates open 90 minutes before game time
• Surprise Stadium is 100% cashless
• Parking is FREE - view road closure and parking map
• Bag policy:
  • Approved Bags
    • Clear Tote: Plastic, vinyl and not to exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
    • Small Clutch Purse: No larger than 5" x 8" with or without strap
    • Plastic Storage Bag: Clear, one (1) gallon, re-sealable
      Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection upon entering. Please limit the number of items you bring to the stadium.

Parking is FREE!
For pedestrian safety, Bullard Avenue will be closed south of Paradise Lane to north of Tierra Buena Lane through March 23. Fans attending games can access the stadium parking lot:

• From Bell Road by going south on Parkview Place or Bullard Avenue to Paradise Lane
• From Greenway Road by going north on Parkview Place to Paradise Lane

Additional parking is located north of Paradise Lane and south of Tierra Buena Lane. For details, please see the parking and closure map.
