Bullard Avenue closure and parking information for baseball season in Surprise

To support public safety during Spring Training and special events at the Surprise Recreation Campus, Bullard Avenue will be closed 24 hours a day between Paradise and Tierra Buena lanes from February 13 through March 23.

Additionally, the south parking lot of the Surprise Regional Library will be closed during this time. The north library parking lot will remain open.

While these closures may impact traditional travel routes, access will be maintained to surrounding facilities, including:

• Surprise Regional Library
• Surprise City Court
• Tennis and Racquet Complex
• Surprise Aquatic Center
• Surprise Community Park and Dog Park
• Surprise City Hall

Residents and visitors are encouraged to review the Spring Training Road Closure and Parking Map prior to traveling to the area.

Detour Information

• Southbound Bullard Avenue from Bell Road: Traffic will detour east on Paradise Lane, follow the curve, and continue west on Tierra Buena Lane.
• Northbound Bullard Avenue from Greenway Road: Traffic will detour east on Tierra Buena Lane, follow the curve, and continue west on Paradise Lane.

Surprise Stadium parking will be limited, with access available only from Paradise Lane via Buck O’Neil Way.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, remain alert and watch for pedestrians as the community gathers to enjoy a full slate of seasonal events safely.
