Spring Training game time changes at Surprise Stadium due to forecasted high temperatures

Due to forecasted high temperatures this week, Surprise Stadium has changed game times for select games to adjust for the heat and ensure a safer experience for fans and players.

The following games will now be played at 6:05 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.:

• Wednesday, March 18 – Kansas City Royals vs. Texas Rangers
• Thursday, March 19 – Los Angeles Angels vs. Kansas City Royals
• Friday, March 20 – San Francisco Giants vs. Texas Rangers

Mobile tickets via the MLB Ballpark app will automatically update with the new time information. Tickets already purchased remain valid and no ticket exchange is necessary.

Heat Safety Reminders for Fans

With high temperatures forecasted for the remainder of Spring Training, fans attending games at Surprise Stadium are encouraged to hydrate before arriving, drink water during the game and wear sunscreen and hats.

Fans may bring up to two (1-liter) factory-sealed water bottles per guest. Empty hydroflasks and sports bottles (up to 1 liter) are also permitted, and water fountains are available inside the stadium to fill them up.
