What to know for the Surprise Spring Training 5K & 1K Fun Run this Friday, March 7

The 7th Annual Surprise Spring Training 5K and 1K Fun Run is this Friday, March 7, at Surprise Stadium! The run/walk will begin at 7 p.m. and take participants on a scenic, evening route through Surprise Community Park and the Tennis and Raquet Complex before heading back to the ballpark to cross the finish line at the field! 

Bullard Avenue is currently closed between Paradise and Tierra Buena lanes 24 hours a day, through March 23. For this event, the closure on Bullard will extend to Greenway Road from 6 - 9 p.m. on March 7. See road closure and 5K & Fun Run parking map.

Registration & Packet Pickup
There are two opportunities to pick up your race packet (bib/chip, event swag, etc) 

• Thursday, March 6, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Surprise Stadium - Centerfield Gate
• Friday, March 7, beginning at 6 p.m. at Surprise Stadium

Not registered yet and want to join in on the fun? Take advantage of the discounted rates; 5K: $30 and 1K: $15. Early registration ends on March 6, and then prices increase to 5K: $40 and 1K: $20. Sign up and find a map of the course at SurpriseStadium.com/Events/5k.

All runners will receive a Spring Training event t-shirt, finisher medal and a “buy one, get one free” lawn seat voucher to a 2025 Spring Training game at Surprise Stadium.
