Surprise Spring Training continues with unique experiences at the stadium!

Spring Training in Surprise enters its second week of excitement. Every day is game day with Major League Baseball action on the field.

Here are this week’s events at Surprise Stadium.

Baseball Card Giveaway and On-site Photo Booths courtesy of United Prevention: Saturday, March 1

Kids Run the Bases courtesy of Uptown Alley: Sunday, March 2
Following the Sunday game, kids get to take the field and run the bases! Each participant will receive a special prize, courtesy of Uptown Alley. 

Budweiser Clydesdales Special Appearance: Sunday, March 2
The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are scheduled to make a special appearance outside Surprise Stadium from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.!

Rangers and Royals Kickball Fundraiser: Monday, March 3
Come watch a kickball fundraiser at the Texas Rangers Practice Complex on Monday, March 3 at 4 p.m. Major League players and coaches from both clubs are slated to appear, sign autographs and serve as coaches and umpires in a friendly kickball game featuring their significant others. All proceeds will benefit Buddy Ball, a non-profit special needs athletic league, and the Surprise Sundancers. Tickets are limited and can be purchased online or at the box office.

Surprise residents can get two Baseline tickets for $20 for any Classic or Standard game! Must provide a photo ID at box office or use the online promo code: RESIDENT2025.

Military & First Responder Days courtesy of Sanderson Ford: March 3, 4, 5, 7
All military and first responders receive 50% off discounted tickets for select games. Offer includes tickets in select seating areas and excludes premium games. A limit of four tickets per transaction. Show your military ID or proof of eligibility at the Box Office or use promo code MILITARY2025 online.

Senior Discount Days courtesy of Vineyard Park of Surprise: Tuesday, March 4
Every Tuesday, fans age 50 and older may purchase select tickets for non-premium games at half-price. Tickets must be purchased in advance. This offer will not be available for game day purchase.

Pup Night presented by Chance Shelter: Wednesday, March 5
Surprise Stadium is excited to welcome back Pup Nights at Surprise Stadium! You and your dog will both get to enjoy the game with other dogs and dog lovers in our pet-friendly lawn section. Must have a “PUP” ticket, and handlers/owners are limited to one dog per paid “HANDLER” ticket.

Experience the magic of reading and exciting tales at the stadium! Join Surprise Regional Library staff for pre-game Storytime in the Stadium. Tickets are $5 – children aged five & under are free. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Seating is limited.  

Spring Training 5K & 1K Fun Run: Friday, March 7

Pre-Game Reminders

• Entry gates open 90 minutes before game time 
• Surprise Stadium is 100% cashless 
• Parking is free - view road closure and parking map
• Bag policy:
  • Approved Bags 
    • Clear Tote: Plastic, vinyl and not to exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
    • Small Clutch Purse: No larger than 5" x 8" with or without strap
    • Plastic Storage Bag: Clear, one (1) gallon, re-sealable

Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection upon entering. Please limit the number of items you bring to the stadium.
